1 Year Wedding Anniversary

One year ago, on another equally rainy morning, I was getting ready to marry the only man for whom I would ever brave walking down the isle for.

Our Wedding Slideshow

It's been exactly 6 months since our wedding & although I've shared a few snippets from our big day I wanted to wait until today before sharing our wedding slide show with the world. I can be a bit romantic like that sometimes.

I want to say a huge thank you, again, to our beautiful photographers Isabelle & Emmi-Sabina of 2 Brides. I'm so happy that we chose you & I know we will treasure these images for the rest of our lives.

Happy Valentines Day everyone.

Our Honeymoon - The Marmaris Imperial

I cannot actually believe that it has been over a month since we got back from our honeymoon. We had such a lovely time & I can remember every day in detail which doesn't often happen for me with holidays as I generally find that each day can blur into one blissful mush of swimming, sunbathing & sightseeing. I guess I just made a conscious effort to remember everything this time as I hope it will be my only honeymoon.

Our Wedding Flowers

As far as weddings go I don't think ours was very traditional in the flower corner. The boys didn't have any button holes & I forgot to bring the posies that I made for my girls (they were safely in the fridge when I got home - yes I am a dunce) but the flowers that were incorporated were perfect so I wanted to share them with you all.

We got Married!

We did it. Tied the knot & all that jazz. It was such a lovely day. There was lots of kissing & a reasonable amount of drinking & the sun even made a short appearence. All in all it was a pretty amazing, memorable day.

One Week Left

We're getting married next week (!!!!) so in prep we had some pre wedding photographs taken by the gorgeous Emilie & Jessie of Paper & Primrose.

Kingscote Barn - Wedding Venue

It's exactly a year since George asked me to marry him (can you believe how much snow we had last January?) & I figured that I pretty much had to do a wedding related post. So today I'm going to write about another potential wedding venue: Kingscote barn.

The White Room - Minchinhampton

Last week I started the search for my wedding dress. It may sound a bit silly starting the search before we've picked a venue but doing it this way around was perfect for me because I wanted that 'kick' to help me feel like the wedding was real & nothing will do that quite as well as seeing yourself all in white. We spent the morning at The White Room in Minchinhampton & I couldn't have asked for a more incredible experience to start off my search.

Rings & Things

I mentioned in my last post that I received my engagement ring last week & as it may seem a little bit confusing that this happened months after George & I have got engaged I thought I should probably explain why: When George proposed (very romantically, may I add) he gave me a gorgeous ring that was a gift to his mother when he was born. I love it & I love the history behind it, but clearly his mother doesn't share my sausage fingers so it is a bit snug.

30 Weeks Pregnant - he asked, I said yes.

We FINALLY got some snow, so I thought it would be fun to make a snowman (kind of) in my likeness, rather than take a "normal" bump shot. It took all morning & I had so much fun making it with George, she's our snow-mamma.
